My iMac G5 is really starting to show its age. I can't decide if I want a 27" iMac or a 13" MacbookAir. I don't really need an optical drive. I use it to import CD's to iTunes. I can always do that on anther Mac and transfer the files later.

So the previous "beta" releases on the Mac were just alphas? Interesting. How long has Opera 8 been in the making? I am surprised that they're already releasing it, but maybe it just feels short.

A great place for shows. I use it for guster.
Regarding FLAC, if all you want to do is add to iTunes, if you don't want to sync them with your iPod, then download a app called Fluke. It modifies something-or-other's libraries, but long story short is you can play FLAC in iTunes

Oh, so when you say it has bugs, you're simply repeating what you hear from others, not actually coming up with any sort of actual original thought based on personal experience? How very American of you.
LOL. Seriously. I have an iPad 2 ... no flickering or battery draining fast, you're actually the first I've heard of it.
My only "issue" with 4.3 is that it's still an iPad, and I'm getting sick of looking at this thing. I have a Xoom too and LOVE it... need to pick one or the other to go back to the store cause carrying both suck. I have a feeling the iPad is going back because I don't believe anyone's going to have a jailbreak for 4.3 in the next several weeks.
+1 on that. I hate when people jump on the bandwagon.

Good news, let's hope these rumors are true. This would help round out the iWork suite even more, and I may actually consider purchasing it if this is the case. For now, I'll hang onto my Office v.X though... :cool:

Hi
I am trying to load an URL in WebView and I am getting an error "Browser not Supported. Please try a more recent version, or a different browser."
URL that I am trying to load (model)
https://xxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.com/Vendor?xxxxx=none&xxxxxxx=none&xxx=3456&xxxx=4322&username=yyyy&password=*****
Code that I am using to load is
NSString *urlText ;
urlText = @"https://xxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.com/Vendor?xxxxx=none&xxxxxxx=none&xxx=3456&xxxx=4322&username=yyyy&password=*****";
[[webView mainFrame] loadRequest:[NSURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:urlText]]];
Can someone help me what is wrong in my code ? Or do I need to Upgrade. I may machine Safari is the default browser. But if use the browser to load this URL works fine I am facing issue only with the WebView at the same time other sites like www.google.com and others are working well.
Thanks
Siva

I'm casually folding on two machines lately. I could help you lose the spot more slowly. :D
Or you could contribute to me, so I can hit 1 million points and transfer my future cycles to Dreadnought's name as promised upon that milestone.

Arn,
I found an error. When you click on the links such as community discussion all (http://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php3?forumid=20) you get a 404 error. Just to let you know...(if you already don't know about it) It's the same for the article discussion too. Not the other two.

No. He's referring to best buy.
Good thing this thread is for the Gateway, oh well it doesn't matter.
Any update on the line size at the Gateway?
Well over 100 last I check, I'm in front and can't see the back.

After taking about a 3 hours nap, I've spent the last several hours working on my blog post of the iPhone 3G S launch at the Miami Beach Apple Store.
This being Miami Beach, it wasn't your average launch...with police shoot outs, road blocks, drunk people stumbling by the line (and dancing), and of course Mr. Clucky.

The whole resolution independance thing terrifies me. I just know we'll see some vendor or Apple have these annoying huge UI's that we can't shrink back down to their proper size. I mean the reason we buy this huge monitors is to shrink the UI and maximize free space right???
Maybe. But this will allow for things like 1920 x 1200 displays in the 17" MacBook. Not many people would want to run OS X on a screen that size now because everything would be tiny. But let me crank up the GUI scaling and have a higher physical resolution for the UI, so I can read everything but it's all sharper and clearer? **** yeah. Hell, put 1920 x 1200 on a 15.4" panel. 150dpi for the win. Crank up the size and the OS X GUI will look even more wonderful than it does now.

No one?
I'm basically looking for a list of your favorite apps, and what they do.
Games i have are fruit ninja, angry birds, sonic, and street fighter. All of them are fairly popular so nothing new there.
I use weather HD for weather, iFitness for workouts. I think iFitness is no longer available though.
Then just the apps that came with the phone, text/safari.

It *IS* a 7455. Trust me. DP800 and its series [733, 867, DP800] were 7450. January's DP1GHz series were first 7455s. It's still 7455 right now. Though the 7455 in 1.25 appears to be 7455A... but the question still stands... true DDR signaling?
Edit: whoops, logic didnt match up... corrected DP800 and older to DP800 and its series

Depends what kind of external HD you are planning on using. A 3.5" external with FW800 will most likely be faster than your stock 5400rpm drive.
If you want to install games to the SSD, then I recommend you to get a bigger one so you won't run out of space immediately. Games take quite a lot of space.
Yep, it will definitely be a FW800 7200 rpm external, and the next step up on storage with this ssd is 120GB at $250. Ouch! I may do it just for the piece of mind. Is there a certain brand/model of externals that seems to be affordable and dependable that fit my needs? Would like to get one that is popular, yet worthy of people's reviews.

Since your iPhone 4 is on iOS 4.2.1 , you might be aware that there is currently no unlocking software available for the accompanying basebands.
Only the Gevey sim can do it right now, just plain inconvenient -- steps are required to get the kit working on your iPhone.What's more, apparently you'll need to do all of this again if you switch off the phone(if you keep the phone always on, then it's ok).
Got mine from a China based site, a knock-off at a cheap price, but it did work.
