I'm going to Canada on vacation for 2 days. I've read that if yr I-94 is valid and even if yr visa is expired you can return to US (thru automcatic revalidation)
till
1. you have not applied for US visa in Canada
2. you dont belong to a country declared as sponsoring terrorism.

My question is if you surrender yr I-94 to a Canadian inspector while crossing in to Canada, what do you show US immigration people while coming back? Do they stamp something etc? Has anyone gone thru this or knows abt this?

I expressed interest to lead the MD chapter but definitely looking for support to build our chapter.

My husband's employer filed for green card under EB-1 (OR). I-140 got approved, I-485 is pending. I already did my fingerprinting. My husband's is scheduled for next week. We did not get EAD or AP yet.

Meanwhile I need to travel to Europe on business. I have a valid H-1 to re-enter US. Would my AP get approved before I return to US? If so, can I still enter with my valid H-1? My husband is planning to delay his biometrics until I get back. Are there any problems with this plan? Please advise

thanks for your response. My lawyer said she mailed with Fedex and it was delivered 3 weeks back. She is saying these days it takes 3-4 weeks to get receipt notice. but I am not sure whether its true or its just my case getting lost somewhere.

Our payroll agency does the same. They do not even provide D-7 to the company because our payroll is incorporated with their other clients so that they can offer lower payroll fees. But they do print our company name in the paystubs. And if a need arises, they can make a copy for the requesting company for quarterly withholding summary.

I guess you can just ask certification from the payroll agency that your paystubs came from your petitioning company. I don't think it will create a problem. USCIS can verify if they want to.
